Security Survey Services
Our qualified staff will review the physical security measures in place within your department, and make sure that we are doing all that we can to keep our students and employees safe.
Please complete the non-shaded areas of the Security Survey Request form to request that Buffalo State's University Police Department conduct a security survey in your area. The security systems that may be considered are:
- Video Camera
- Electronic Door Access
- Door Combination Lock
- Panic Alarm
- Burglary Alarm System
Once the assessment is complete, UPD will issue recommendations regarding appropriate security/surveillance measures. Subsidization of such measures is neither implied nor implicit. Video surveillance equipment may not be installed without a recommendation from the UPD and approval by the vice president for finance and management. Other security measures may be approved by UPD with this form.
All campus video surveillance systems must be approved, installed, operated, and utilized and have records retained in accordance with the Buffalo State Video Surveillance Policy.
